Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 4 April 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Assert, a software-as-a-service product operated by Pixel Funnel Ltd (company number 8497619, England and Wales). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are using Assert on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. The service

Assert provides a platform for generating and running automated end-to-end tests from plain English Markdown scenarios using AI and Playwright. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@assert.click if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts are for use by the registered organisation only and may not be shared or resold.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All prices are in USD and exclusive of any applicable taxes. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Assert to:

  • Test systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or otherwise disrupt third-party services
  • Circumvent rate limits or access controls
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise our infrastructure
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all test scenarios, Markdown files, and other content you upload to Assert. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights and complies with applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

Assert, its logo, and all associated software are the intellectual property of Pixel Funnel Ltd. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or other proprietary marks.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results obtained will be accurate or reliable. Use of the service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixel Funnel Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
